Ryan E. Sanada is an associate in the Labor and Employment department of the firm, where he represents and counsels employers in a wide range of labor and employment law matters. He has successfully represented employers in federal and state court litigation; EEOC and HCRC investigations; labor arbitrations and mediations; and hearings before the NLRB, HLRB and DLIR. He has also dedicated a significant portion of his practice to counseling employers on labor and employment matters, such as compliance with labor and employment laws, handling personnel and disciplinary issues, and preparing employment policies and handbooks.
Mr. Sanada is also a frequent speaker on labor and employment law. He has presented seminars for various seminar programs, private companies, and SHRM Hawaii.
Mr. Sanada received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Hawaii, Richardson School of Law, where was a Member and Editor of the University of Hawaii Law Review and a Research Assistant for Professors Hazel G. Beh and Karen M. Gebbia-Pinetti.
He serves on the Board of Directors for SHRM Hawaii and is a member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. |
